Life can be too short...

Our founders started Everyday Legal after experiencing just how costly and confusing it can be to get a new business off the ground on a sound legal footing. But it didn't stop there, we found the support for self employed and everyday consumers was also lacking. We know when people are inspired to start a new project or venture in life, the last thing people want is to waste valuable time and money on costly legal fees.

We have combined a first class legal and digital (web) solution expertise to build this web site. Our web site is your easy to use on-line source of personalised legal policies, contracts and forms. We have drafted a plethora of ready to use templates for all sorts of subject areas. Whether you are someone looking for better legal protection, a self employed worker trying to make everyday business less troublesome or an entrepreneur bamboozled by the neccesary preparation of polices and contracts for your burgeoning business, Everyday Legal can help you!

Want to know a little more about us? Why not check out our blog. Our core team update it regularly with news and views of our journey!

Home Rental Agreement (Tenancy - residential assured shorthold)
Useful for private and professional landlords or someone letting out their home other than for a holiday. In England and Wales, there is no legal requirement to have a written tenancy agreement. The landlord and tenant can agree terms orally. Who is at risk more without a written agreement? Without doubt, it is the landlord.
Home Office Rental Agreement
A 'Home Office Rental Agreement' document useful for the self employed or those wishing to rent out. The home is clearly a most resourceful asset. With the advent of airbnb, not only have owners been letting out properties as holiday lets but there is a new trend to let out houses for office purposes. The self employed who work from home have been renting their home office space to their business for some time now.
Room Rental Agreement
A 'Room rental agreement' document. This is an Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement which is only for private residential use when you want to formally rent out a room rather than the whole property.
Paternity Policy
A 'business paternity policy' document for your organisational HR and employee needs.

Declaration of Trust of Property to a Beneficiary
A Declaration (or Deed) of Trust allows you to set out how a property is owned in situations where you cannot or you do not want to register who really owns it at the Land Registry. The document creates a trust, appointing trustees to hold property for the benefit of the beneficiaries, e.g. your children or other relatives. A Trustee is simply a person who is responsible for looking after the money or property that is held by the trust. Under the Trustee Act 2000, trustees are expected to act in a manner appropriate to the responsibility that comes with the position, and to protect the interests of the beneficiaries.
Last Will And Testament
A Will is a legal document that clarifies what should happen with your worldly effects when you pass away. About 31 million people in the UK have not made a will. There is no legal obligation to make one but it can be expensive not to do so. If you do not make a will, there is a risk that not all your estate will end up where you would like it to go. Surviving spouses only inherit a portion (not all) of your estate. This might not provide sufficient monies for them during their lifetime.
Lodger Agreement
A 'Lodger Agreement' template document suitable for landlords or individuals. Some landlords do not use a formal written lodger agreement as accepting a lodger is not the same as taking in a tenant. If there is no written agreement, it can be difficult to know how to deal with problems that may arise. A formal agreement can therefore cover things you may not have thought of and will protect both parties’ position.
Appeal Letter
An appeal letter is something you write if you feel you've been treated unfairly in some way, and you want someone to reconsider a decision they made about you. Hopefully this template letter will be useful for both the personal individual and organisations.
